Refund and Returns Policy

This policy applies to door closers and related hardware sold through My-Door-closer.com and DRIWON, brands operated by O&F Associates, LLC.

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your order was delivered, we may not be able to offer a refund, replacement, or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, the door closer must be unused, uninstalled, in resalable condition, and returned in its original packaging with all parts, accessories, and documents included.

For safety and product-integrity reasons, we do not accept returns on items that have been installed, modified, altered, or damaged after delivery, unless the return is due to a defect, shipping damage, or our error.

To complete your return, we require proof of purchase such as your order number, invoice, or confirmation email.

Non-returnable items

The following items are generally not returnable:

  • Installed door closers.
  • Used, altered, or incomplete products.
  • Custom, special-order, or made-to-order items.
  • Final sale items and clearance items.
  • Items missing original packaging, mounting hardware, arms, fasteners, templates, or included accessories.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm receipt and inform you whether your refund, replacement, or exchange has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within a reasonable number of business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Late or missing refunds

If you have not received your refund yet, first check your bank account or payment method again.

Then contact your card issuer or payment provider, since posting delays can occur before a refund appears.

Sale items

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, sale items are not eligible for refunds.

Damaged or defective items

If your door closer arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item, packaging, and issue.

In these cases, we may offer a replacement, exchange, missing parts, or refund depending on the situation and product availability.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you need an exchange for the same item, contact us at contact@my-door-closer.com. If approved, we will send return instructions.

Shipping returns

To return your product, please contact us at contact@my-door-closer.com. Please do not send items back without first contacting us unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

Unless the return is due to our error, shipping damage, or a defective product, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or unless the return is due to our error.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Warranty

Some door closers may include a manufacturer warranty. Warranty coverage, duration, and exclusions vary by product and manufacturer. Any warranty claim must be submitted with proof of purchase and product details.

Warranty coverage does not apply to improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, or damage caused after delivery unless required by the manufacturer warranty.
