We installed this door closer on our office door, which sees frequent daily use, and overall it performs well. It’s built from solid cast iron with a silver powder-coated finish, giving it a durable and professional appearance. The unit is adjustable to accommodate different door sizes and weights, and the closing action is smooth and consistent. Installation was straightforward, with all the necessary hardware and instructions included.
That said, it does have a few drawbacks. The closer is quite heavy and bulky, which may make it unsuitable for certain door frames. Additionally, the large screws provided could potentially damage or split thinner frames.
